I am wanting to get more hp and torque from my 6.5 turbo diesel. Any suggestions?

More about the truck : it is a 94 Silverado, nv4500 tranny, rolled duece rears

There is a few thing that can be done but it won't live long. IMO these engines are better off left stock.

I removed the mechanical fan and vacuume pump off my friends as well as upgrade the fuel system and it seems to pick up substantial power.

I had bad luck turning the fuel screw on my db2 in all the way to the stop and running it. But it did last a few years that way. Motor number 2 really liked about 12 psi of boost and a very minor timing advance. It ran a tick cooler when towing, got reasonable mileage and last I knew it was still going strong.

But fwiw, 6.5s are definitely picky creatures and no two seem to live the same life span.
