Is the difference just injectors? The mach 7's are rated at like 240hp?? And what are the 6X16's rated at? Thats a huge difference if its just injectors..

Those Mach 7 s were p pump conversion injectors and the pop offs were just brought back up to VP specs

I asked Bowersock about that when I borrowed them from Jeremy, and he seemed pretty confident they were not the conversion injectors. I even PM'ed Don M about them (on this web site) before I installed them, but I did not get a response. I guess Don M is the only one that knows if they are a conversion injector or not.

This isn't a thread about one injector vs. another. It is strictly a reference to the thread I started, after I ran at Edgewater on 4/16: Here is the Thread

Weston even asked if it had the 12v spring in the injectors, but again, I had to answer from what I was told by the man who purchased them directly from Don M.

Yes, the difference was just injectors. See my post above about the thread I started last week.

If you have any question about those injectors, I would contact Glenn or Chris at E.D. I don't think they rate them with HP.

Nice Job Kyle, you goal is less that .3 of a second away!

- We both know with some major gearing changes.... 11's is right around the corner.

Kyle,

Just to give you a reference point, here is a time slip from my 02 from last friday night at Medford Oregon:

Mach 6's
60'... 1.788
330'... 5.066
1/8... 7.855
mph... 87.93
1/4... 12.365
mph... 108.45

Kind of amazing how close your pass and mine are. Looks like you are getting everything figured out.

Thanks Danny. You would think the 3.54s would help.

That sucks about the deer though. That's what you get for calling me out :hehe:

Great times!! I am trying to get my manual in the 12's by summer. We only have a 1/8 mile track here in Coos Bay. Going to try and strip some more weight and run some smaller tires and a bigger shot. My times from last weekend.
60'....2.039
330'..5.793
1/8...8.986
mph..78.98
truck weighed 8250 with 3.54's and 35s on 20"s launching 3rd gear with 20 psi and a 125hp shot between shifts and on the top end.

PAULB you gotta come over here this summer and run if your in town. I got Mat Ray from Siskyou Mtn and maybe Bill from Source talked into trying to come race here this summer

That's a lot of weight! I am closer to 6900-7000.

Yeah I know. Its time to put in on a diet. My toolbox has probably 400 lbs in it so it doesn't really help. Time to pull it out!
