I'll see if I can find the dyno sheet... at the very least it was early 02 since it was on the wall of the local shop I used back then after I bought my truck. I think in was at Thunder in Muncie possibly? I'll find out... I think it was 608hp actually.

I wish I got to meet him I have heard so much about him from Adam Winslett and Adam Sprague along with Chris Sutton. Those are the guys who started it out on the west coast. Sprague has told me about going to pulls and they didnt know what class to put him in because no one else was pulling with diesels.

Not sure where it was at, but I'm pretty positive it wasn't any later than 02 since thats the year I bought my truck and started hanging out at MCS. I'll call Keith today and ask if he still has it. I have Ray's cell number, but I don't know him well enough to just call him out of the blue, lol. Matter of fact, he may havve been running a B1 turbo then... I know it wasn't the HX40 he popped

And he wasn't running a Smarty, so is that the reason for the hate Bob?

Just to clear this up Rays made his dyno run on 9/2/04. The truck made 604.6hp 1173.7 ft-lbs. For the record he didnt use a smarty but he DID use a MADS ecm. I can try and post pictures later of the dyno sheet.
Hope that clears everything up.

I know who popped the hx40! 'Ol Whitey was on her way to a good run that day. I don't think Bob was hating on Ray. Just doubting the year that it happened.

Thnaks for the info Chris, Guess I was wrong on the date. And I knew Bob wasn't hating on Ray, just messing around 604 was still pretty good for a VP truck in 2004, but enough hijacking!

09/2004 is off from 2001. I remember the early 2000-2001 days when edge was just starting out. very exciting times back then for electronics

Pretty interesting to go back and look at these.

I went to the very first Bullydog Dog Days of Summer event. They had their "mister universe" duramax... The shirt is getting hard to read, but I think it says something like 743 horsepower.. Which was just unheard of around here.

The winner this year did what.. Almost double that? Crazy.
