You took me way to serious lol

Looks good! Happy with the power?

lol I didn't even pay attention to who asked. I was busy burning hamburgers.

I've backed it off some, it was pretty violent on kill. It will still leave about 20' of rubber in 16th gear when the turbos light but is still workable. Click the image to open in full size.

Intake temps get up to 160* (fan comes on at 150) so I think I'm going to get a new CAC and maybe a radiator. The stock parts have 550,000mi on them. Have a few oil leaks I'm chasing but so far I'm satisfied, I haven't ran over my own crankshaft yet and it's not in a gay azz Pete so those are always a plus.

Might go to Antrim just to see. The correction factor on my butt dyno is off.

This stuff here is probably the best product you can find for insulating an exhaust manifold. Specs say it's only rated for 1200f but since when do we play by the rules?

I'm just going to have it Cerakoted like all the rest of these parts, and all the others we have done. Only reason the manifold isn't done is the local guy we have do them had a bad batch of ceramic and it wouldn't stick and the truck needed to go have the deck plate made. Got more and it's good again. Don't really care about insulation just want it to stay shiny.

Before you say the stuff doesn't last you have to remember nothing is forever. When the coating starts to change color you have to scrub it with a fine scotch brite pad to bring it back. I see guys complain all the time how the polished ceramic coating doesn't last and every one of them bolted the part on and never touched it again. If you want hassle free you have to go with flat black. The polished isn't made for the temp these parts see but will easily last for years. When it finally fails you blast it off and re-coat.

Friend is playing with an aftercooled 1985 3406B. Had an 80mm Borg single and decided to throw an HX on top. 100* cooler on a hard pull, 200* cooler on smaller rolling hills in TN and KY.

We're running a turbo dating service. Every one of them needs a friend to work with.

My dad had his 3406C rebuilt last spring with steel pistons, a 7FB pump and timing and put a BW Cat 78mm charger on it. I've been trying to talk him into letting me add a second charger. But he's just not buying it... Wish we could make it to Antrims to talk with you.

I haven't heard if it cleaned up the smoke haze. Wasn't bad just could see a small trail on a hill with the single and the pyro would climb. Now he can hold it on the wood all day.

Kind of cool, he found a pic of the truck when it was new.Click the image to open in full size.

No PHUCKING WAY!!! You know him?!
I sat and chatted with him and I'm assuming his dad at super rigs in Joplin last year. Super cool guy and I literally ruined several pairs of jeans over that truck. By far the coolest truck there. God that things sexy.

Lol yea truck shows are stupid. Another friend took a 1999 W9 to Louisville a few years ago. Bought it at a used car lot for like $25,000 and gutted it. Almost every part on the truck was custom made buy a local fab shop. Strapless tanks, flush frame bolts, complete custom interior etc and didn't get chit because gaudy stuff is in. Starting to look like those UGLY European trucks they like to cover with crap.
