transmission fluid in fuel

I've heard putting trans fluid in your fuel will help with power. Is this true? I use power service additive everytime I fill up. Will the trans fluid do the same? Does it help? Does it hurt it? Any info would be appreciated.
 
That's what I thought I just didn't know. I have a 1990 chevy 3500 with a 12 valve cummins and the guy I bought it from put trans fluid in when he filled up but I always used power service since I got it and my other truck. I just wasn't for sure.
