2.6 12V pulling engine project
I’m selling my start on an engine build for a 2.6 truck. Everything is fresh, nothing has been run previously. Everything stored indoors. Crankshaft, connecting rods, and injection pump cores, available to buyer at additional cost. Engine should be capable of 1000HP plus with the required air and fuel. Should have an approximate 7 minute run time, oil cooler recommended to cool between runs.
Located in the Omaha / Lincoln Nebraska area.
Navistar/IH casting 12V block burned and shot blasted to bare cast
• Completely hard blocked except water pump cavity (cured over 1 year), has frost plugs installed to make it factory appearing
• STD bore +.012 torque plate hone
• 7 cam bearings
• Decked and fire ringed
• ARP 2000 Main studs, line honed
Navistar/IH casting head burned and shot blasted to bare cast
• Completely hard blocked, (cured over one year)
• Fresh cut on head gasket surface, fire ringed Intake manifold removed, surface milled flat and drilled for individual runner manifold
• head fully ported, all combustion surfaces coated
• phosphor bronze guides, custom Ferrea Stainless alloy valves, 45/46 valve and seat angles, big block Chevy dual springs, custom retainers
Mahle 286210 pistons
• .200 valve reliefs
• Modified bowls
• Thermal coat, scuff coat
Custom Cam Grind on new Cummins blank
• 258/268
• .540-.563 Adv. Lift
• Common rail lifters scuff coated

early morning mistake, price is $3500. A set of fire rings and a modified head gasket are also included
