What size borescope to fit thru injector hole?

Santa got me a new bore scope but before I take it out of the house I want to make sure I could check out my piston tops if the need comes up. What size is the injector hole?

If I'm not mistaken, you need a 5mm head on the borescope to fit thru the 12 valve injector holes. The original snap on was a 7mm. Last time I talked to them they were coming out with a 5mm, but I haven't seen one yet.

I'm not sure if 24 valve is the same or not.

5mm, last snap I seen was way to big. Harbor Freight has some cheapies for $80 that do the job.

The snap-on 5mm ones fit. I think it's like $250 though. It fits on any of the newer snap-on boroscopes though. From their $400 one to the $1200 one.

Snap on has a 5mm available. I searched for a small borescope in 2010 when I was in Jackson hole for an emergency repair. The answer was to stay 2 days longer for the snap on to come in.

^ This. I just went through this. Bought a new snap on bore scope with a 7mm tip. Will NOT fit a cr injector bore. Upon further research i had to buy snap on's 5.5mm adapter which is over half the price of the bore scope. Had me over a barrel they did!

Mine has already paid for itself. Hurts at first but after it saves you time on diagnostics its worth the money
