The 727 is the one I used, I think that is why the bracket needs to be modified.
The B&M shifter is awesome though for pulling.

Any 727 shifter should work just fine.

The chetah is one of the most highly respected ones in the mopar world.

I use a Carbon Fiber series Pro Ratchet in my Little truck.

Not a great picture but one of the few I have on this computer.

Click the image to open in full size.

I'll get a better one for you.

Any 727 shifter should fit the A518; the pans are the same, but they both have the hot line that B&M apparently didn't bother with when they fabbed up their brackets. Just because they say it fits doesn't mean that it fits...

The deal with the MegaShifter is that it has a "Light Truck" model that sits a few inches higher. That lets you mount it on the floor instead of fabricating a pedestal or console, or using your foot to shift it. Which might be kind of cool.

B&M does have a sort of el cheapo reputation.

Here's a post where I asked a similar question on another website.
http://www.1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?...hlight=shifter

Here's my post on B&M's forums complaining. http://www.bmracing.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=283
