Help air filter

ok im not willing to run a big high dollar air filter system its to much money. has anyone ever ran a filter mounted on the turbo flange. if so whats the pros and cons to doing so. its a thought i had but i just seemed to simple so im asking for opions and input. Thanks.

just use your stock air tube its 4 inch straight through...put your filter on it.

Another option is go to home depot and buy some 4in dryer hose and mount a filter on the end of that

Check ebay for good name brand air filters(AFE, AEM, S&B) my buddy just bought a brand new AEM filter that was almost the size of his BHAF for $15. Mounted it to the stock intake tube and made sort of a mount/heat shield box out of an old street sign. Polished it up and looks better than most kits you can buy and cost basically nothing.$.02

I have a big AFe sitting in the garage that would work, PM if you want it. Just the filter though, I'm using the sheetmetal box, lol
