Need help on gear ratios

I am running 3.55s in Dana 80s and blew the spider gears apart on my last pull. Have a set of 4.10s I can buy and swap out or should I stick with the 3.55s. In a 12v with a nv4500

4.10 would highest you should go. 4.88 would be better for a pull truck. Less stress on driveline.

I have 4:10 and my first pull ever was Sunday I couldn’t get moving in 4th 4 low / I had to run 3rd and it was horrible slow 4.88 or (4.56 I think it is) is what everyone runs so you can run direct

4.10’s will work with 33’s. If you don’t have enough power to pull 4th/low you can always do 2nd hi range and it’ll give you essentially the same final drive ratio as 4.56. Although it’s much harder on the trans/ t case. I would also avoid 3.55/3rd low at all costs 3rd gear is made of glass

Thanks everyone for the input. Can’t find and 4.56 or 4.88 local and kinda working on a budget so can’t order all new. Will be installing 4.10s this week if I can get back with the guy
