GT4288 too laggy?

I have a gt4288 that I am no longer gonna be using on my car. Its a 64/82/1.28 a/r I believe with a t6 twin scroll housing. Could use a spool valve but I think that's worth it on a 64mm?

The gigantor turbine wheel is whats killin you... Along eith the huge t6 turbine housing.
Swap it out for a 3788 or a 4088 and enjoy driveability.

How laggy are we talking though? I use this truck as a play truck mostly and to haul my dirtbikes so that all highway. I just purchased a built auto with a 3000rpm stall converter so that's super loose.

What fuel modifications have you done? Its going to take a lot to run that thing, plus if you add weight to the truck its going to smoke out the highway until you get it spinning.

Right now I only have 5x12 injectors and a gutted afc. If I swap to this turbo or a different one I would be getting delivery valves or bigger injectors.

A gutted afc and a big single is a bad combo.

Why such a high stall? I daily drove my 12v with a 75/87/.90 and had a lower stall than that.

Does it have a 10-blade or an 11-blade turbine wheel?

Yeah I am debating if I'm gonna change it or not. Part of me wants to try it out just for the fact of the 3000rpm boosted launches lol. I watched a video of a mustang driving with a 5000 stall on the street and it didn't seem bad ha.

You won't get a 3k boosted launch, you will get about twice as much smoke as anyone else here and then when your rpms catch up to your turbo you will be over 1200°
