This was a test hook on a pro mod 2wd ford has a 400+ ci ford with a ppump on the passenger side single 3in turbo and street tires
 
It's a 6.6L Brazilian Ford engine, found in tractors and medium/heavy duty trucks. There was also a 7.8L version available also.

So its a V-8 Ford motor????? Mechanical Im guessing.......
 
Thats the one that was started back a long time ago? Correct? Glad to see it progressing.... :woohoo:

It might have been 2 years ago when he started it, At most but I'm thinking it was last winter and had it out toward the middle or end of the season. I don't know that there are any pics of it out there, I intend to get some next time I'm over there though

Edit: I know he had it out in September '09 because that is when they have the fall pull at our home track, and he ran it there
 
MP, I'm pretty sure Travis posted pics of it in a thread back a year ago or so.


It's an interesting build with the way the frame & all is done.

How tall is that engine?! It looked like he has nearly zero room between intake manifold & the hood! Tight squeeze!
