1500 egt's..dammit

Mine would sit on the leg for a couple of seconds after I let off. And I was running a 472. When the new owner tore it down at 240k, it looked brand new inside.
 
so one guy says fuel and the other guy says air..see...wtf....im gonna put an adj elbow on it tonite and see what happens when its makin bout 50 psi max

i still dont like seeing 1500 plus..its a tow pig..cant blow it up anymore
 
If you keep your EGTs under 1200 when seeing rapid rates of acceleration a leprechaun will pop out of your EGT gauge with a pot of gold!
 
At least with a cr I heard 1600* is fine nas long as you don't hold it there for bursts longer than 30 seconds. Mine sees close to 1600*degrees on a regular basis. Idk about a 24v.
