Tail Gate Latch

Hey guys. Do any of you by chance have a manual latch to your tail gate on 2020 or newer truck?

Long and short is, I hit a deer with my 2011, replaced the box with a 2020 box tailgate on the 2020 box is all electric. Wont function without the body control module. Tried wiring keyed power to it abs still won’t work. Wondering if any of these trucks were made with a manually operated gate?

No. Bounced off the side of the box. The 2020 box has different bosses for the tail gate than the 2011, because the 2020 gate has the drop down assist built into the hinges.

Do I remember correctly that the bed Jory just got from his neighbor had the electric latch?

It is possible.. Didn't think to ask him.
