I am only offering my thoughts on the turbo rules, not on the drive line, but what Pete and I have discussed;

Keeping the 2.5" bushing rule for the small frame turbos, adding a true 2.5" rule for the larger frame turbos ie; S400/GT42.

Allowing a bushed 2.6" in the same fashion as 2.5", adding a limited MWE groove protrusion 2.6" rule, and also the PPL 3.0" smooth bore rule.

These will have clear diagrams, clear rule wording, and should create a level playing field while still trying to allow as many people to pull as possible. Pete has been very accepting to any help I have offered, and I believe he truly has the puller's best interests in mind as do I.

It is in fact a correct term.... To whoever is running them, that is not the "neck area" by my and many others definitions... Just because you guys read it differently and Haisley got Mears to go along with it, doesn't make it "not cheating." Just another's piss poor definition

PPL determined what the neck area is, not Haisley, or Eric, or myself.

If these turbos were not thought to be cheater turbos, why were they not available to the public?

I sent you a PM. This is not the place to discuss what happened in PPL this year, this is a discussion about Shootout Productions and the rules they are looking to implement.

I would like to see rules locked for 3 years so it's not a pissing match at the end of every season.

I like the proposed rules from Weston too. I kind of wish Outlaw would do something like that...

I agree with this. Also, not everyone has the means to be making drastic changes every year.

I agree also.
Are the 2.6 bushed and profusion going to be a seperate class from the 3.0 SB? Or will all three be in one class?
Thanks in advance

The idea was to allow the bushed 2.6", protrusion 2.6" and 3.0" smooth bore to be in the same class. The MWE restriction would not allow the larger covers seen in PPL this year, this would allow more options to the pullers while keeping the power across all three competitive.
