turbo Question
Thinking about this turbo on a 6.7 :Fmw s480/87/1.0 how would it do as a single? How would it do with a 66 in a compound set up? Would this be a solid set up. Any opinions thoughts!
Who makes piping and brackets to make it work? After driving a twin turbo 5.9 I was amazed at the smooth power and seat of the pants WOW!

The 480 will be slow to spool as a single, compound all the way would be better option.

S480 is gonna be a dog by itself, twins are gonna push a stock long block to its limits. But can be tuned around with efi.

The 66/80 is almost as popular as the 66/83 in 5.9's. I think you'd have a decent spooling setup with all the air you'd ever need!

The turbine is to small on the 480 to be used in compounds, would have drive pressure issues.

It's going to be a different answer from every person you ask. If it's a fun truck that you dont need to tow with then run it as a single and have fun, I've seen you post a lot about towing trailers though and if that's the case I would looking at a different turbo with a larger turbine to compound your 66 with.
