King main bearings

Anyone else had them show up damaged due to poor packaging? The trust floats around in the box and beats up the top bearings ..

People get awfully lazy with packaging sometimes. My favorite was a 64mm turbocharger in a box. That's it. No bubble wrap or peanuts, just a heavy 64mm turbo flopping around in a box. Box was beat to hell. Turbo was okay, minus the big gouges on the inlet where it bounced against who-knows-what.

I've ordered a few set of king bearings in the past. Always packaged nice and they were very consistent in thickness. My neighbor is a turbine machinist and I had him check them with his ball mic. The ACL bearings I purchased had a much larger range of thickness. I'm talking tenths of a thousandth but still the kings were the higher quality. These were for my wife's 2014 wrx that spun a rod bearing at 19k miles. Traded that pos in for the 06' mega
