smarty s03 error unknown software.

Let a buddy borrow my smarty and now when u hook it up to his truck it says error unkown code. I got the ecm number. How could i correct this?

i did. It still says error unknown code on friends truck and on mine says vin is locked.

The smarty is on the truck that says error unknown code. So i cant unlock the vin.

Is the other truck a 98.5 ? If so the flash memory chip may be to weak to flash. Tech support number is 855 456 7627

They said it was a 99. 3237304J1B7KC2368XJ613094 is the ecm its locked to. I ll try that tommorow. If that doesn't work Ill be giving you a call Bob.

How cam they flash amother truck if its lock to ecm . Yes thats his ecm.
