I need to know everything about nitrous

hi all I was thinking about spraying nitrous on my commonrail, it has a 62over ht3b twin setup and enough fuel to make around 60psi but it just hazes at wot on the freeway. what would be the benefits of spraying? what about effects? egts, boost numbers, horsepower? i really dont know anything at all about it, thanks.

Nitrous and twins work but not insanely efficiently. Single spray and an external wastegate work well. It's super air all the air you will ever need in a bottle. Roughly 370 degrees below zero. Spray it evenly progressive kits are nice I reccomend spending the extra money on one. Bottle pressure not so much of a big deal on diesels 1000psi is plenty.

Really? All the air I'd ever need?

In his application yea don't pull things to far out of context man. I know from experience in my application all the air I need sits in one of those blue bottles

Not speaking for the tracks but here in Georgia it is actually illegal to run on the street... I'll see if I can find the code section and post later...

I can see how it may be illegal to USE on a public thoroughfare, but in small quantities not illegal to transport.

MC, since when is bottle pressure not important on ANY proper nitrous system? I didn't know diesel changed the laws of physics...

It's illegal to have an installed system on public roads here in Ohio. The bottles have to be removed on the street.

I doubt any officer would cite you on it unless you were using it. In that case, you will likely be facing larger charges.

Same here in Texas. My bottle nut is easily turned while driving. Way too convenient.

That's the reason it became a law in the first place. Drunk guy with nitrous installed went left of center and put someone in a coma. Didn't matter that he wasn't spraying at the time. That someone in a coma happened to be a slick lawyer's daughter and now we have street racing law with massive consequences. The way it's written, if you ever go WOT, you're street racing.

Overkill, but it made the street rice disappear for a few months.
