gettin Garmonized.....

well the shop just called & told me the converter was delivered this afternoon.......

Trans is supposed to be dropped off tomorrow per going global......HAHHA cant wait!!!

and i went and picked up 2 cases of dexron III/Merc. trans fluid per Jeff.

Is that what everyone else is running in there Garmon trans....whatta you say Big Swole.

I believe thats it, but I just always use what hes got at the shop.. And he buys a chit load of it..lol

I would think he told you correct! lol
 
HAHAHA i bet he does have alot of it sitting around.

yeah thats what he told me to buy so i should be good to go....picked up 5 cans of brake kleen to flush out the cooler etc. also.
 
Dexron III is what I run too. I ran two cans of cooler clean thru mine, you're gonna love this thing man!
 
i`m like my kids at x-mas man...... i hav`nt had a good trans for so long i cant even begin to tell you how much i`m looking forward to getting this in on saturday.
 
Trans was dropped off today.... since i have a slow day tomorrow i`m gonna swing by the shop & take a look at the beast.

I swear the guys at the shop think i`m nuts or something...they have cummins trucks also but short of putting a smarty jr & an exhaust they havn`t done anymore to there trucks, i think they are trying to live through my truck or something because they love having it at the shop...... probably because it means money for them....hahaha

Jeff's is my 5th...4th billet. Hopefully last, so far, so good.
That shaft on the right is the reason why mine came out. 1,000 miles on that shaft, 500 on the one to the left.
Garmon's did a full rebuild on mine. I'm 15k into transmissions at this point.

my man !!!! you are tough on parts.

The good news of all that is how many miles you have been able to get outta Jeff`s.

Guess your miles per billet shaft average are going way up.
 
My original Garmon tranny last through 4 motors, after I went full billet!! LOL



But heres my collection , minus the block and a few other things..lol

:doh: man the PD must pay good down south....makes my wallet hurt just looking at that pic.
 
Swole almost put this in his truck one day.But i talked him out of it..lol

Ha!! I wish!

it's all the off duty part times I have to work..Put in LOTS of 17 hr. days like I did yesterday and today( still am...).. 0545 - 2400 hrs today... Long time in this freakin 30 lb. uniform... Ugh!

And if it wasn't for Jeff's help with my truck and several other Very kind and generous folks, I'd have been out of this game Long ago..

I'm still paying on a lot of it... Sometimes I wished I'd never got credit cards!
 
We did nine transmission jobs last week,and both out of town appointments were in and out in one hour! Rick and kyle should work on a top fuel team! :clap:
