driving the truck today, boot needle would tag 50 and then crawl back to 40...

do WHAT!??! :confused:

hmm... pulled over and popped a new fuel filter in it (doesn't everyone keep a couple under the back seat? :confused: )

probably should have done that sooner... truck runs GREAT now! LOL! :)
 
Happened to me Sunday morn as we were getting ready to leave a RV park. Yep, a spare is always with me.
Not a lot of fun though in 30* and 20 mph winds!!
 
Hey Forrest how maney miles did you have on it? I'm always thinking with the cruddy they sell around here that the fuel filter could be holding me back a bit......
 
Yea i alwyas keep a spare filter or two with me, Always seems like they wait till Im the farthest from home on the nastyest day to stop up...:doh:
