Shock Valving Questions
I've had a dual shock bracket kit for my 96 Ram for many years now and have never installed it.
The biggest reason is that I'm not sure what shocks to run so that the Nose doesn't end up over valved.
I have pro-comp shocks up front now, and the only problem I have noticed is that I keep eating a lower bushing on the driver side.
On another note, I was thinking about running some MX6 adjustable shocks on the rear.
Anyway, tell me what you guys know about shocks on these trucks, or point me a direction I need to read or someone I should call.
Thanks
Kyle

Run a good single shock with good valving. What's your budget on shocks?

There are plenty of long term results most are on Cummins Forum and Dodge truck extreme forums.
Every one says they ride great have plenty of travel for a budget shock. I run 5100 on my 06 but wanted to give these a try. But I'll be switching those up soon.
Just Google Thuren Overland shocks

Thank you. It wasn't mistrust, just I know enough to know you based your purchase on something.
I figured out one of my fronts had a miswelded or bent eye.. Causing the bushing to fail.

I don't think you'll have an issue with 5100 or the Thuren Overland shocks there are much nicer shocks out there but they are substantially more money. I wouldn't run two on each corner unless you want a harsh ride.
