Looking for a ride from around Everett WA to Sigel IL
My wife has a family tractor that needs a ride from her uncles place just outside Everett, WA to my cousins place in Sigel/Effingham, IL. It is a John Deere 420 utility, it does not currently run and drive, it should roll. I have not seen the tractor in 5 years, I will be at his place June 5-11 when it will need to be picked up. It does not need to be delivered quickly to Illinois, I am not in a rush, but the pickup has to happen when I am at her uncles house. I will make sure that the tractor is put together enough to be able to go on an open flatbed trailer. I cannot guarantee that it will run though.
If anyone is making a trip that way let me know if you have room for the 420. Or if you know of a tractor shipper please send me their contact info. They guy I used to use has retired.
Here is a link to the specs of the tractor for weight and dimensions.

You did deliver a 12V to my old man a few years ago. That block is still sitting in the garage apart awaiting time to work on it to get it into my Loadstar. One of these years.
Send me a message with what you think it is worth to you.

Darryl Krause I bet is who you know. I could ask him, he knows some of my cousins, but I bet he will have full loads and not have room for my junker. Besides it is the wrong color for him from what I hear.
I have debated taking four more days than my currently scheduled vacation and dead head out and back on each end of the trip, but even if work lets me use their fuel card for half of the trip it will still be a few thousand dollars with current fuel prices. Door to door for me out here in PA to WA and Back is about 5600 miles. I want to see the country but not at break neck speed to make that trip in the few days I have available.

If you decide to go pick it up I have a car in Wichita Falls TX that is supposed to be ready in a couple of weeks. I have to pay for transport any way so it doesn't matter to me who I hand the money to.

Good guess, ....its the wrong color, but he's a good enough guy if he has room, he'd load it.

The tractor is even the wrong color for me, but my wife wants it and you know the saying....
I am going to reach out to Darryl Krause through my cousin Zach and see if he does have room. Honestly even if he holds onto it till he is coming up for the gathering of the orange in 2023 at Pinckneyville I would be OK with that.

You never know unless you ask. If he has room, I'll bet he is very open minded!

I wonder if anybody'd think I'd flipped
If I went to LA via Omaha!
Crazier things have been known to happen.

You’d be coming through my neighborhood then mr. Charlie Daniels trip planner. Some target shooting might be in order.

So I talked to Darryl and it sounds like he may have room for it to get to either Nebraska or his place in Texas, time will tell as he builds his loads getting the rest of his stuff from WA to his new place in Texas. Chris I will be sending you a message.
