My 4th Gen build.
I ran 11.9 out of a pusher compound with an S480. Now I wanted to build something for around 1000hp. I really enjoy and drive my truck so I wanted something streetable but fast. I already bent my rods 2 years about so I have a built motor with a Hamilton Hot Street Cam and a girdle. I did an Allison swap a few years ago also and have that dialed in.
I chose a wastegated angled Steed Speed manifold. I wanted to angle it up but it was hard having the wastegate on the bottom so I settled for angled down. The secondary is an EFR9180. Its a really trick ball bearing, billet compressor wheel and some kinda unabtanium turbine wheel. I really like how the twin scroll is wastegated on the steedspeed manifold. I am making my up pipe to primary out of schedule 40. I slightly worried about how stiff schedule 40 is but we will see. I also have twin CP3'S and 200 over injectors. Here are some pictures of the start.

Here is the bracket I made to hold up the primary. I want it stiff so it doesn't fatigue the schedule 40. That tubing is 1 5/8 roll bar tubing that is chrome moly.

I talked to him a bit but in the end I got an ATS Controller and that was the Daddy!

The EFR-s have always been voodoo in the diesel world.
Looking forward to how it works out for you, keep us updated.

I put a couple thousand miles on the truck now and love it. The turbo spools quicker then the stock turbo and I have my wastegated set really loose. With the stock turbo I would have to put a ton of pressure on top of the gate to keep it shut. This new turbo I have no pressure on top of the gate and it boosts right away. Currently I am making a hood stack that will be flush with my hood and only working under boost from primary turbo. I wanted to start making my truck quieter at cruise and install a catalytic converter again but still have full flow under boost. I had planned this from the start and made my downpipe to work with the hood stack when I was ready to build it. So far I ran a 11.8 on tune 1 on a wet day with 1.9 60ft. I'm enjoying it a lot and can't wait to turn it to a higher tune. I am still working on adding fuel above 4k and not sure how high I should go. I am currently reving to 4400 but this there may be more in it if I aadd more fuel and revs.

Thanks for the update. I plumbed a waste gate out the passenger side on a gasser, plenty of noise when you wanted it. I like the hood stack idea, you could tune it from the cab.
