4x4 dyno

How do people get a vehicle dynoed if its all time 4wd? I can't turn off my 4wd and make it 2wd. I'm unable to find a place that has dynos for 4 wheels. How do ppl dyno their trucks with 4wd?

A buddy of mine entered a local dyno competition with his mud race truck. He runs a aftermarket transfer case that's all time 4x.

The frt driveshaft was running through a tube to contain it and would have been a pain to remove it. We just pulled the front wheels off and set the axle on 2 wood blocks and strapped it down good.

Blown 500" ford motor on methanol. Worked perfect.

Having a tough time finding a dyno shop thats willing to dyno an 8000lb truck and remove the front drive shaft to do it. Now I wish I had a 2wd option on my transfer case.

Calibrated Power Solutions (Duramax Tuner) has a 4wd dyno. I have dynoed our truck there like 4 times through the years and always in 4wd.

Best bet is just remove the shaft. Mine is the same way. Why can’t it go in 2wd at that weight anyways
