Head work

Is installing over sized valves worth the extra cash? Thinking of porting my head and going with over size valves and new valves guides if it's worth the money. What's the benefits of it if any ? Better flow lower egts and help spooling turbo ?

I've seen talk of it helping spool and lower egts. I've been giving his serious consideration along with a cam.

would like to see what others say as well.

For a street truck, from my research the most benefit is from .040" larger valves, mile bowl porting, and milling off the intake shelf(you don't have to go with a side feed intake) if you can swing it as well.

.040 over is the norm on a 4 valve 5.9, but on a 6.7 bore I'd look at going bigger than that.

Best money invested was on the bigger valves along with port and polish
