Any thoughts on hydroboost vs manual brakes? Leaning toward a factory dodge unit I have laying around.

I would go hydro boost. Especially if you have one laying around.

It'll add weight, but should help with the street legal side of things.

If you're going to do something like road course, or autocross for fun, that'd be the only reason to go with a conventional vacuum brake booster. They're quicker.

And hydroboost really doesn't weigh that much.

Sweet build!

Comp engineering kit. I'm only using the bars and ends. Going to a tubular backhalf. Have new brackets that came with the rear end for tube mounting.

Unlikely I'll do anything but groceries and drag strip. A smaller wildwood setup would be much smaller and lighter. Makes more sense right now to use the hydro with the power steering pump and hyd rack and pinion.

With horse pressure like that you need 3/4" bolts.

Doubt there is. Saw him up here in the Williston shop the other day. So he's making the big bucks so he should have several big updates soon

Been working with the sfi foundation to come up with a resolution on a new cage spec for 7.50-8.49 @ 4500lbs that will accommodate prostreet. We are gaining some ground on it. Also my housing supposedly will be shipping out anytime so I can continue the backhalf. New tube bender is mounted and ready to start tweaking some pipe.

Small update. Got my housing back. Instead of receiving a complete new unit, as promised, I received my orginal that had been widened. But moving forward despite the little irritations. 4 link bars and brackets done. Frame in place and rear bars mocked.

C'mon. I plan on roasting a set of tires around an autocross track with my truck just once. I saw a guy drifting an M5 around the track and now I have to do it. You know you want to join me...
