12 Valve Exhaust Manifold Flip

Attachment 72550Hello Guys,

I am in the process of putting a 12 valve into a 1948 Mack and need a little room on the passenger side. I wanted to ask if there is any tricks or things to look out for when I flip the exhaust manifold 180 degrees. At a glance and some measuring it looks like it will work with the stock manifold.

Thanks,
Brent

Very common for guys to flip the manifold when building twins. It will bolt up and work fine upside down. Looks like a very cool project, get a build thread going so we can see more pics/progress.

Thanks for the interests and complements. The wheels are 8 Bolt Budds with 285/45R22 tires. I will get a build post going soon.

Thanks,
