Backround: 3,900 miles on a 2007.5 6.7 2500 4x4 purchased on August 5th.
On Sept 30th I get
cel and a computer message "catalist 70%".
Oct 1st:
cel remains on but catalist message varies from 70%-90%. Manual recomends driving at highway speeds to clear this problem. I spent 1 hour on the Florida Turnpike at 80mph and the problem got worse.
Oct 2nd: 8:30am I drop the vehicle off at the dealeer and explain the problem. 4:00 I get a call saying that they need to replace a sensor (never said which one and the filter (egr). but they don't have the parts. They tell me it should be done the next day between 10 and 12.
Oct 3rd: 12:30pm I get the call. They need to replace none other than the
pcm. They don't have one but they can get one overnighted from Orlando. This requires intervention from Dodge so they can program it to my VIN..
Oct 4th: I call the dealership at 1pm and I am told that the
pcm has been installed but I will need a new turbo.
Oct 4th: 5:00pm I get the truck back........................
Was there anything left that they didn't replace?
This is my third Dodge truck and my first
cel. At this point I am wondering how long it will take before I see the
cel again, can I get rid of it through the lemon law, and can I get a 5.9 to replace it?
