need advise on a no start

Alright, I hate asking for help on a 6.0 no start since there are so many out there with this issue but I can't seem to solve my problem. Coming home one night, took off hard and let off around 60mph, went to hit the peddle again and there was nothing, soon after truck just died and rolled to the stop sign. Had my dad tow me home, hooked the x4 up, icp was only reading 390 psi and IPR was at 85%. 4 years ago I did all the bulletproofing, from head studs to a new hpop. So a few days after I tore it down this king something let loose. I did an air test and everything seemed to check out. However after leaving150 psi of air hooked up to the icp Port for 5 min I could hear air. There were little bubbles coming from the back of the pump. Then I pulled the pump cover and dropped some oil into the pump, did another air test and there was no leak. So I hooked my gauge up to the icp Port, cranked the truck over with the little wire on the passenger side fender and my gauge would not move. So I closed the IPR valve and cranked it over again and the gauge went to 2500 psi. I'm really stumped on what my problem is and any help would be great. It is an 03 also.

I forgot to add the day after it dieing, I checked for oil pressure again and the x4 read 500 psi with IPR 85% closed, but still would not start.

Ill take a stab at this.
You have to physically have 450 psi of oil pressure at the icp or in the rail while cranking to energize the injector. if you have a bad icp sensor unplug it it will default and start if the oil pressure is there.
You also need 150 rpm of cranking speed, ficm sync and i think no less then 46v at the ficm to start.

The way you described it died, usually is the screen is jammed in the ipr and holding it open... however you said you physically saw 2500 psi (i didnt think the pump would make that pressure cranking) but if you saw it ok. you need to look towards the electronic side now, any codes? sure it has fuel in it ???

Keep us posted...

Yea I checked everything and it all passed, I'm hoping it's the IPR since I never replaced it. I have a new one now hopefully I can get it back together tonight and try it. 2500 psi was on the gauge I had hooked to the icp port, iv seen as high as 3000 on other trucks I have worked on. Pump Seema to be fine.

Put the new IPR in and the truck started. I'll finish putting the rest of it together tomarro and try it out. Hopefully I'll be good to go.
