Had to take my F-450 to my nephews shop last year to do the engine and front suspension swap because I couldn't get it in my own shop, it was kinda nice though because we did the work in August and September and he had just installed AC in his shop.
Heat and AC outlets have been figured in to the wiring for mine now.
sounds awesome i am hoping to finish mine as well soon with heat AC and power

I also ripped the old fence next to my lean too car port and installed the old tin off the back poach of my home to add some privacy to my clutter
I also bought a Fahrenheit 5000w heater and installed it for the 24x24 shop area i am supper impressed about how well it heats for as small as it is.I also installed my french doors in the tool room and machine shop area to segregate all the sections of my shop. these were also reclaimed out of my old parent's house as you can see the glue is running out of the panes of glass making a mess. They will do for a shop.

Nice work. It's really coming together! The house roof looks great too. That would be really nice to have a clean area separate from the shop to do work in. Those little electric heaters do work pretty well. I put one in one bay of my building and it does alright for what I ask of it. Haha

Looking good, defiantly like the house roof.
Haven't got much done on my lately, All of the 240 volt wiring is done, both welder plugs, air compressor, heat/AC. Some of the 120 volt plugs are wired, the rest are mounted but still have some conduit to run before wiring.
Medal is on all of the walls but have to finish conduit and air piping before the ceiling goes up.
Had one setback that I wasn't expecting, had bought a nice Quincy QT5 compressor a few years back from a vol tech school that they said had recent pump work (it had fresh paint), with the wiring installed I pulled the compressor from the shed it's been setting in and wired it up, oil level was good, oil looked good, belt tension ok. Flipped the switch and rattle, rattle, rattle, shut it off, pulled the pump apart to find the low pressure rod spun and the crank trashed, pump is junk, looks like I gave $450 for a air tank, closed the doors and kicked gravel the whole 200 ft to the house, well the last 50 ft was in the yard which is good or I might have broke a window out.

thanks is taking a while, the roof turned out amazing i cant believe they did it in 1 day either. I have been really impressed with how much heat it puts out for as small as it is.

Ran across a sweet deal on a Quincy QR25 series pump, has a valve leaking back in the head when it shuts down, but has good oil pressure and no oil in the discharge. May go ahead and do a full rebuild on it before mounting it on the tank. I'll probably have $800 in it when it's done but these are the Cadillac's of piston pumps, Over $3000 for a new pump alone.
Shouldn't ever need another compressor.

Got some more work done in the shop while home for Christmas and Hopefully i wont get water in my shop any more. I used some tin left over from my roof on my house to Seal the front side of the shop where i have been flooding in with water also had some small tears in the old tin so this fixed it up nice. Got all the welders out (for a project Currently building ) and Made me a stand up Metal saw for cutting small pieces.

SWAG offroad makes a few different designs but a little pricey. I oped for the vise one but I like that stand. I might pick up another cheap harbor freight one just for a dedicated one.

Id like to hear more on the sami as well. Thems some big tires for that little 1.3...or 1.6.

Do you have a need for some stock shafts? I was cleaning out the garage some and found a box of shafts, knuckles, perches and centercaps. Didn't realize I had them as I havent had a sammi for years.

Yeah the porta bandsaw is actually a good buy from HF. I built a bridge with mine. I believe I paid around 65ish for the vice version and foot pedal switch.

I always wanted to put a little 1.9 in one of mine. I always just stuck with the 1.6. I had 5 or so just for parts. Had the hard tops that we switched out the 4:10s for a little better power in the woods.

Good looking projects. Keep them up. I'm working on a hib crane with 2 arms that have a drop arm that swings 360*.
