the front engine is there for power, it has instant throttle response unlike the two large diesels.

I see SS's combining box, which makes sense and was aware of for the two diesels. My question, which may not be able to be answered here, is how is the gas motor which clearly on a seperate throttle, combined in with the diesels...Must have a slipper clutch or somethngof that nature, now that I think about it.

A clutch on each motor (slipper) the clutches allow for differences in Rpm If a motor dies it just drops out.
