Modify harness for low beams with highs, help?
Installing halo/projectors along with two sets of 55w HID's. Have the summit relay wiring harness that everyone used to get for their headlights. What I need to do is modify it so the projector stays on with the high beams. Not with the fogs trick either. Thanks!

I don't know what kits are out there, but I set up two 30amp relays with wiring to run the headlights. One relay for high one for low. Then the inputs to those were there factory wiring (drastically reduces current through the factory stuff).
Then I just put a diode from the high to the low so the lows will stay on when the highs do.
Super simple and works great.

Diode from 87 pin on the high beam, run to pin 85 for low beam signal. Assuming you are using a std 4 pin relay.

That link is exactly what I wanted, thank you! I already have the aftermarket harness so I might do the diode, have to see if the scotchlock mod works on a 99. Thanks guys!
