MaxSpool Magnum Series

At this time I would like to introduce the new MaxSpool Magnum. Series

The Magnum Series is a culmination of 20 years of engine development experience , specializing in valve train and cam design , along with advanced computer aided modeling..
These cams are for the Diesel GearHead that demand more then a cookie cutter cam here. These cams are the best available anywhere . I degree each one of these cams , in in my test engine before they go out the door , The cams will require, that you use the engine building skills that are a absolute necessity in any maximum effort engine program . , These cam comes with cam cards for the buyer. .
The guys that have been testing these cams have been keeping it quite , and for good reason , they make power All Magnum and Magnum Pro cams have bolt on gear retainers

MaxSpool Magnum CR1 This new maximum effort CR/24 is ground on new Cummins UGL’s , If you like many others, including myself , when building Project X Diesel , don’t want to take the engine out and cut pistons. This is your cam
Under these circumstances This cam has no equaled in the diesel world ,
With 190+ degrees @ .050 , and .330 intake lobe lift it moves a lot of air , and complements ported heads
.

MaxSpool Magnum CR2 . This new maximum effort CR/24 grind is ground on new Cummins UGL’s , this cam has no equaled in the diesel world , as to its ability to move air , This cam requires a .060 cut on the pistons , and will allow you to maintain precious compression ratio
It has a 200+ degrees of air moving duration @ .050 with .380 intake lobe lift .

MaxSpool Magnum Pro
Same as CR2 except on a 8620 steel billet UGL’s this cam will also work in 12 valves with a P pump,

, MaxSpool Magnum Pro Custom . Means just that , I’ll advise you , or let you pick your grind out of my arsenal of over 30 different profiles

Damn, I guess I should have waited until now to get one from you Greg, though I'm sure the 2.5++ will run just fine

I believe that with any maximum effort engine program, you should always verify that all of the margins of errors don’t line up against you . The MaxSpool UGL cam cores allow me to place the intake centerline of the cam exactly where it should be , when dot to dot . I do roll all of the magnum series thru a jig motor to make sure there are exactly where they should be
The cam is just under 190 intake duration with .335 lobe lift , and the proven 115 .@ .050 with .305 lobe lift . And will really move some air with significant more lift .

If you want one , you better hurry I have only 20 or so UGL cores left after grinding a large number of 2.5++ ..

you still have not gotten your studs for that manifold ,yet , Ill try again to get a hold of Carl and find out why you havent got then, by the way ARP dose not make studs for the exhaust of a cummins those look like smaller turbo studs .

every header I get from them has the studs taped to the manifold , sorry they have taken so long ,

would have help if your second gen was a 24 valve like the first manifold I sent .
