chassis swap steering pump issues

I'm in the middle of a chassis swap and hit a snag.

I'm putting a 47 dodge WD21 body onto a 98 2500 4x4 frame.

Everything was going as smooth as it could until I ran into this problem.

I didn't expect the steering box to hang so far out in front of truck. I have to cut more of the front of the frame off to fit the new body, but this puts the steering box halfway through the grill.

I am open to any suggestions or alternatives as to how I can fix this problem.
