XS Power Batteries and Product Information

Well as you can see on our site http://www.4xspower.com we carry pretty much anything you need as far as batteries goes.

Most of the diesel applications call for a BCI group 65 or 34 battery, and our D6500 and S/D3400 batteries are a direct replacement for those BCI groups. All of the 12V batteries come with a 36 month warranty and we do not jerk you around on the warranty!

I have seen where a lot of you are running the 34/78 Optima Red top battery. Our 3400 is the same size as this battery, but to be honest you can not compare them in power. I am not just BS here either, we have one of the best battery dynos here in our lab and we have tested our competitions batteries. We feel VERY confident in our product and we back it up!

If you have any questions just let me know.

The CCA was a important test back in the early 1900s when it was developed, but it is pretty much out dated. The CCA is a test that tests the battery power going to the starter for 30 seconds. There are very few, if any, starters out there that can take a charge for 30 seconds.

We dont do CCA tests just because it isn't important any more. What todays vehicles (racing and daily drivers) need is instantaneous power, which is the burst of power that is needed to start the vehicles.

I can try to schedule some lab time and run the CCA tests if anyone really wants them. We are doing some race testing on our 16.5-18.5V lithium battery now and our new 12v lithium battery that will be ready soon, so getting on the dyno is kind of hard right now.

Just an estimate but the 3400 would prob be in the low to mid 900s and the 6500 will be in the upper 900s. Like I said though if someone needs them I will try to get them for you.

i know i posted this in your other thread, but can you do a test on the D2700 also? the dimensions of that battery will fit the second gen battery box, and if i got 2 of them, well i think that will be hell of alot of cranking/anything power.... thanks Nathan!

I will try to get the ratings on all of the bigger batteries from the 3400 up for you all.

will the I bar system work on the D2700 battery? looking at the pics of the other batteries i am going to guess that it does. how much do the I bars cost, or are they included when you purchase the battery? thanks again Nathan.

There are a few different IBars systems but the 556 would be my suggestion for the 2700 unless you need side terminals. The 556 will give you two top terminals (on the postive and negetave posts) that will work with OEM battery cable claps, ring terminals, or pretty much anything you want to hook up to them. The 556 is $24.95 and comes with 2 sets of auto posts.

I can get you a few pics on Monday with the 2700 and the Ibar systems if you want me to. Just let me know what you are looking at.

To answer your other question about the Ibar system...... they will work on pretty much all of our batteries, but on a couple of our smaller batteries (925 and 1200) and the 3100 you need some adaptors to make it work. Those adaptors are $9.95 for the 975 and 3100 and $19.95 for the 1200.
