Machining delivery valves

Sorry for all the post past few days, but anyways. I have a set of 191 delivery valves I’ve decided to go ahead and turn them into full cuts. That being said I was wondering what I should turn the diameter down to once shoulder is gone and how accurate they need to be within each other. Thanks!

I tried machining a set once, they were too hard for the cutters i had. But we only have old school tools, so I’m sure a nice carbide insert would do the trick

I machined the shoulder thinner on a set once to more closely resemble am 024. I believe if you are going with full cuts, then im sure you just turn the shoulder all the way off to where the shank is smooth.... I would think within .001 would be even enough.

Maybe this helps a bit...

We have cutters. I’ve made them all into full cut. Was just wondering if they were supposed to be a certain diameter or if they just need to have the shoulder turned down flush.
