I have the trans out for the 3rd rebuild in 6 years. Each time it gets a little better. This will be rebuild number 17 for me. I made a mount that bolts up to an engine stand head. But I tripped over the legs of the stand and it felt a little tippy. So I welded a a piece of pipe and angle I had laying around and mounted that to my table. It also raised the trans up higher so I don't have to bend over it as much. You can also fit a 5 gallon bucket under it

Thanks. I didn't make that until build number 12. I was tired of wrestling them on the bench and tearing them down on floor on a large pan. Doesn't look as good to people paying for the build either. The mount also pivots back and forth where the angle has a thru bolt on the table. So I can swing it out of the way when I pull a truck in.

Yes the stock size used load range e tires spin nicely.

The track closes on Labor Day for the year. So sometime before that is when I plan to go.

No dice. Decided to give myself the winter to get it all ready without rushing. I picked up another rig for daily duty so the truck can have a break. It always runs great in the winter but I seem to wear it it out during the track off season. I also keep finding deals on used parts so I started collecting while the truck is parked.

New daily. It least it has a cam and a shift kit. The creeper is giving the truck a break. Scored some used 425s for cheap, 6 pinion front planet, 5x.018s. I’ll update with some pics once I get some more parts collected.
