99 Cummins won't start?? Even with starting fluid

I'd like to get some of this but I can't get it shipped from Australia.

A gasoline soaked rag is easier on rings imo. It's my go-to for heavy equipment, especially since "starting fluid" sucks these days.

I think I'll nab a can of the JD stuff next time I'm down there!
 
Step 1: Spray ether until engine locks

Step 2: Impatiently try starter multiple times over the next 30 seconds.

Step 3: Spray slightly less ether than was used in step 1.

Had a problem with a ve pumped 4bt in an excavator. Had sprayed so much either into the air cleaner that when she lit, she went way up there for way longer than I wish it had. Last time I soaked an air cleaner that bad.
