Common Rail 5.9 Jacobs Brake Used - Competition Diesel.Com

Good used Exhaust brake that came off of a 06 with a G56. The shifter controller was cut and spliced at one time but cant see it installed. It will need 2 ECU pins that will need to be purchased from Cummins as well as a new belt. Will fit 03 to 06 common rails.

How well does it compare to say the 6.7 factory exhaust brake?

I had one on my 07 5.9. I think it felt and acted about the same as factory brake on a 6.7. The switch was noisy and annoying on mine. IIRC, I bought my kit new from Snedge for $900, but that was probably around 2010.
