Why is it that the 6.0 threads now all turn into pissing matches? No wonder folks are ditching the 6.0. You guys are getting as bad as the Chevy girls! Heres the thing, if you like whatever system, I love it. The facts are that many different systems work. One WILL be better than the other, but I would bet not by a whole bunch. Its like babysitting a bunch of school girls on Prom night trying to prove whos dress and makeup looks the best. I swear......I need a new hobby!

isn't this called COMPETITION DIESEL its a competition..obviously!

this is a very tame thread..considering what have some to come to.

Tim..all brands argue..don't get it twisted..

However I dont see this as an argument AT ALL! Good information thus far..and maybe SOME good will come of this test.

Come on Tim....Lets see that system handle 250s....I wouldnt want my 250's (if I had 250's) running that system....I believe it would run those injectors for a short time but the injectors wouldnt last long. You need fuel and I dont believe there is enough supply.

I think thats why DJ suggested the challenge in the first place. I have no idea, as I don't have 250's either. Maybe we should wait for the results before it gets dismissed though, ya think?

Hey Rob,

Why would a stock truck not be acceptable?
#1) You keep leaning towards a truck with bigger injectors, bigger this, bigger that. Why don't you build a truck that goes fast then we can match truck to truck, at the track. You haven't done this so we'll wait til you're ready.

#2) You state that a stock truck will barely show any benefits from any of these kits. I will show you how wrong you are about a stock truck not showing any improvement. A stock truck will show improvement on a properly done fuel system.

I agree but that would depend on what aftermarket components you are installing. Build a fast truck with aftermarket components, then we can talk.

My system is rated to 250cc injectors which is the system you and your buddy say don't work. Let's get the word out to the vendors. This thread has been up for 2 days and it was started to have a 6.0L Fuel System Challenge. We'll do the stock trucks and then we'll do anything you want but to have a "challenge" we need "challengers"

Thank you. Maybe you can get FASS to donate a system. They will both need somebody there to install their systems. This will be done after fuel systems A,B & C are installed in the trucks and dynoed. Then we can install the Airdog in one system and dyno it again, the FASS in another truck and dyno again. We will get concrete results.

That's the way we'll do it, one step at a time.

I think thats going to be a sweet test. I just installed the Air Dog. I like it alot. Install was a pain with no instructions. I have tons of pics though. I should have put the truck on a dyno before my fuel. So i will never know. I cant wait to see the results.

Adam,

There will be no variables. We are testing one stock truck, first pass, stock. Second pass, Vendors A,B or C's fuel system install. Get all the readings you can. Where are the variables?

The test will be conducted the same day or next day. We'll take into consideration barometric temperatures and we chose Dunbar cause we need a good dyno operator.

Fuel systems can work totally different. I am not knocking Elite's system. It is a good system, but you haven't tried mine and yes, it will support up to 250cc injectors.

Hi Rob, again.

As to your 250 is what we need, you are wrong again.

This will show the amperage theory - wrong again.

Like I said, build a truck and we can play. Talk is cheap and paper will hold whatever you put on it.

Hey DJ.....I am building a truck.(I thought I was)...Why dont you come hook chains with me or hook it to a sled...My truck isnt for dragging. not this one. You keep saying build a truck. I have. Last year my truck was running. Running real strong. This year its only been out of the garage for 2 weeks. When I talk to you a few months ago you sounded upset that I was going with twins. Or maybe it was that I was going with Blackwidow twins. You tried to convince me to keep the VGT-ss. My truck will going through a few steps this summer to get it running in top shape. When its done come to the sand dunes, Sled pull or even Tug of truck. Mine is built for a different purpose. At least this one.

As for building a truck. I thought minime was out with a blown rearend. Or is it retired. Maybe get it runnning before you start calling me out.

As for your system. When you devolope something and try to market it, you have to take critism.Thats part of business. When you say it will hold up to 250cc injectors you have to explain it. Thats part of marketing. It sounds like your getting upset and afraid to prove that system will hold up to 250s.

Hi Rob, again.

I completely misunderstood you. My apologies. I thought you were building a truck to go fast, not to run in the sand. Most of us don't run in the sand. We run at a 1/4 mile track, 1/8 mile track or the mud. Must be a redneck thing. Oops. I'm not a redneck, I'm Cuban.

When you talked to me a few months ago about going with the twin turbos, I stated, "why would you need to go with twins, when you can do the same thing with a single". As to having something against Bunting, wrong again.

Hopefully, you'll get your truck to running in top shape for this summer. It will be another Ford running fast, sorry, another Ford running correctly. I won't be able to make it to the sand dunes cause I have never run in the sand and don't know what to do. I don't pull trucks against each other but I do have customers who like to do that, we can probably arrange for one of our customers to pull against you.

I didn't know your truck was built for a different purpose than going fast. As far as Mini Me being out with a blown rearend, or retired, I don't think you want to play with that truck but I have customers trucks you can play with.

I can call you out because I can back it up. As far as whether my system will handle up to 250cc injectors, it stands. There is nothing to explain, it holds up to 250cc injectors.

Upset and afraid, wrong again. Afterall I did start this thread so all the fuel system vendors can come on board and we can all test our systems at one place, one time and all the bs will be put aside. Maybe you don't understand my English.
