So I'm interested in upgrading the suspension but not actually changing the stance any.
If anyone has input on coil springs and shocks, I would like to investigate them.

Don't like the ride? I only drove mine a few miles and nothing over 50 mph but I gotta say it rode 3x as good as my 2nd gen with carli springs and bilstiens. My Ford came with a 6 inch rough country lift.

A member here messaged me with an Esn. I've got 6000 miles on it, and I have driven every day this week. Just hit 15.67mpg out of the last tank.

This weekends to do list:
Connect the Edge CTS to the transmission so I have temp and pressure readings on the monitor.

Connect the tach adapter from swaphelper.com so that the PCM has engine speed. This should give me a tach input and should let me have the A/C compressor function so that I can have air.

Joefarmer and I were looking at parts to make the Ford see the Cummins(Chrysler) alternator as it's own, because both of us used the oem dodge alternator. This should kill off the battery lamp on the dash cluster.

I've got a bit to learn with the engine tuning. I'm seeing lower boost than I expected, and suspect I still have a torque limiter hiding somewhere.
For now, that isn't such a problem because I don't want kill the transmission.

Speaking of which, I've got to redo the tune of the anteater. OD at cruising speed it putting my engine speed just under the torque curve and it's really choking the engine down.

Overall, SOTP feels like about 475 - 500 at the wheels, but I'm also basing that on my lighter 6300lb 12V @ 505 rwhp

Well. Got some news, and an observation.
I hooked up my swap helper tach adapter, which went smoothly. I removed some of the wiring that isn't necessary.
One Touch Ignition System does indeed work. It took me a few tries to hit the sweet spot where the OTIS will crank without dragging.
After hooking up the adapter, I ran over to work to gas up the AC. Perfect vaccum. I shove pag in it with dye. I turn the system on, and no AC clutch. I had the wife and kids with me so I was going to drive home to troubleshoot the electrical side. I turn off the high side valve and unclip it, and BOOM! Whole GD system evacuated into me face, on to the hot exhaust, firewall, windshield. Awesome. I don't know if the Schrader valve was loose, or if it was gone and I didn't notice it. It had been well over a year since I had assembled the AC lines. I'm going to throw another valve in it and gas it up again tonight.

Just realized I didn't post up about my AC. I got the shader valve in and served the system again. I cycled the system in and it blew the compressor discharge hose. It looked like the braid and core overheated when I had the lines tig welded. I did some Google Foo and found solder on AC hose ends for aluminum AC lines. The only issue I encountered is a diameter mismatch between the dodge compressor discharge and the condenser inlet Tubing diameter. I found a solution for that, and plan to assemble it all at work tm. I just trimmed off the portion of the adapter that was bumped at the factory. That leaves a nice tight joint to solder together. It's certainly made me/my abilities look questionable. FWIW, I wanted to make it a point to demonstrate what went wrong in the things I've tried, even if some of them weren't things I've caused.
All I can do is laugh and know I've had way more successes than failure in my career in the repair industry.

Truck does drive nicely now. Hopefully I can keep it together a while.

I like it from a driving standpoint, but I catch myself being over analytical of every noise and vibration. I also need to work on the trans tuning. It's a little too extra shifting locked.

Maybe that's why I like my swap trucks and Dodges. I just drive them until they don't go, then fix and repeat.

The only vehicles I have brought myself to do that with are Toyotas

I'm usually convinced that every noise is an impending catastrophic failure.

I've been sitting on this catch can for months. I finally decided to go ahead and mount it, mostly because the draft hoses I had installed ran through where the front drive shaft should live.
I fabbed up a bracket to mount the can to the 3 pads that mount the throttle pedal to the firewall. I used 55mm bolts to mount and a pair of 10an 45 degree fittings.
My plan is to route the return oil to the late model lift pump cover with the port in it. Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

Mounting to the throttle pedal may not have been the best idea. The bracket it funneling power train vibration through the throttle now.

On another note: SOS sample came back clean. Zinc was lower that I had expected.
I'm curious about this sample because I know I diluted it with new oil, and the zinc is half what it was during the last sample. That would also mean iron would have been at 60ppm rather than 30. Tbh, I was expecting wear metals to drop after switching to synthetic. This would indicate that they stayed the same.
