5000 governor kit....

i have a 5000 kit in my pump... long story short the throttle is absolutely wayyy to touchy. either your on the throttle or off. theres no in between cause if i do try to hold the throttle and maintain my speed and i hit a lets just say a pepple on the road the truck starts jumping and jerking. i have to let off the throttle and slowly try and ease back into it lol. now have any of you guys had this issue?? and if so what did you do to fix it? thanks. oh and its a 5 spd.

Mine started doing this lately. The first 700 miles it was fine, sometimes worse than others. Haven't had time to try anything to fix it.

Do you have your return springs installed? If so you can back your gov springs off 1 click per pac and see if that helps.

strech your return spring to the fuel inlet on the side of the pump and hook it there, it fixed mine.
