1997 F350 Cummins, Twins, Nv4500, Full Restoration

Up for sale is my 1997 F350 that I just finished restoring, seeing as I have a 57 Power Wagon waiting to receive the same treatment I need to make space in my shop .

I brought this truck home 3 years ago looking to get it running so that I could plow with it. It was originally a 7.3/Auto. Eventually things got so involved that it snowballed into what you see here. I'd much rather talk to any perspective buyers on the phone so I will not list every single nitty gritty detail below.

Chassis:

Frame and all components sandblasted and coated with SPI epoxy.

All relevant bushings and bolts replaced

Sky RSK levelling kit up front

2" DOM traction bars.

Brakes totally rebuilt, front and rear axles are stock.

Heavy duty hitch that comes out behind license plate. This is not a light duty hidden hitch.

Body:

During the resto I lost the original cab to a collapsed tree so I sourced a cab from San Diego public works. All proper paperwork was completed and the truck carries a CLEAN Maine state title, with a 6 digit Maine VIN. It was insured with no issues.

I did not replace sheetmetal or fix ANY rust, if it had rust it was replaced.

Paint and bodywork was done by myself, entirely with SPI Products. The color is "SPI Red"

Plates were added to the doors to accept GM extendable tow mirrors.

LineX bedliner

MarK roll pan

Engine and Driveline

1992 VE engine with 152,000 miles. Head was decked and cut for o-rings, fastened to block with Cummins .010 over gasket and 625 studs. .010 was done for no particular reason, the block was not decked.

Stock pump other than 3600 rpm spring, fuel shutoff is mechanical in the cab.

60lb springs shimmed .060

Any necessary gaskets were replaced, pretty much every one except the tappet cover.

Stainless Diesel T3 manifold

HE351 over S472, mild steel piping, professional powder coated. It should be noted that the 351 compressor wheel has very slight damage on the fin tips due to the cover blowing off after I failed to seat the snap ring deep enough. Truck spools no different.

New Cummins balancer

Custom intercooler and radiator/overflow tank.

Professionally rebuilt NV4500 square top backed by a 241DHD.

Valair 500hp Kevlar/Ceramic clutch, stock input

5" aluminum driveshaft by Austin Machine, 1410 joints, tubing is 5x.125.

Interior:

Tan colored, XLT trim, windows and locks work well. Bench seat with cup holder. The interior is exceptionally clean and looks and smells like it's new.

A/C is present but needs to be hooked up. Engine has stock 92 compressor.

Depending on the price I will give the buyer the new Autometer gauges and 4 gauge pod I have yet to install. Pyro, 2x100lb boost, Exhaust Pressure.

Please send me a PM with your number and I will call you. I do not currently have time to simply share advice and techniques, sorry. I am asking $20,000. I would take some sort of equipment trailer in trade

I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase to come look at the truck in person and see just how much time and effort was put into it. Not looking for any internet cowboys to give me their two cents on this or that.

Yes GM mirrors.

All gauges work, no cruise. I feel that cruise breeds laziness and inattention.

Bump. Can knock 2-4,000 off if you have an NV5600. Also looking for a set of 22" aftermarket dually wheels on 37s, 8x6.5 pattern.

Another weekly bump.

I've told some folks I'd take $16,000 so I'll offer that up here.

About to put a new tensioner on it (bad pulley) and also having the block off plate on the back of the VE resealed (major PITA for how small the gasket is).
