155 degree or 145 degree pistons?

Hey guys I’m building an engine and I have 2 engines to choose from. Both are 12 valve Cummins. One is an 89 with marine style pistons and one is out of a 93. I have a Farrell Diesel stage 4 P7100 to put on the engine I choose to rebuild. Here is my question....is there an advantage to using the 155 degree pistons over the 145 degree pistons? I believe there would be a slight advantage with the 155 degree pistons but not sure how much. However, I’m not an expert so does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks

With the larger angle you can run more advanced timing and still spray in the bowl.

155 marine is the best for performance ,145 degree is an emissions based piston.
