You know, I heard the Coast Guard had a height requirement of over 6' tall for their enlisted. They wanna make sure if your ship sinks you can walk back to the beach.. :hehe: Sorry old Navy joke.

As a Damage Controlman I attanded several Navy courses. the Navy guy's would always be saying stuff like that, and mumbling knee deep piriates etc... My response to them was, the last time I was in knee deep water it was in a bath tub with your wife :hehe: Sorry old Coast Guard joke.

Thats funny. I laughed at that one. :hehe:

Outstanding! West Pack Widows as we called them on the boat! That's a nice pay raise Scott, plus the first of the year is a tad less than $200 for me as housing is going up along with food and I go over 18 next Sept.

Way back in 90' when I was taking home $600-700 a month farming I would have never thought I'd be making this much money now......a true blessing.

Jim

Yeah Jim, BAH is going up big time, especaily here in the Sonoma / Marin area. Of course I will probably have to rent the house if I get orders as I would loose selling it at this point.

Nick, it's good to see you again and on here! I was just talking about that trip that other day with a student. I finished the flying tour and moved over to the school house summer of 07' and I'm loving it.......I like molding Sailors!

Snedge, I work at it as those Sailors make me, all I do is run damage control for them.......JSOQ, SOQ and IOQ and of the year packages are a delight to me to write, they do the work all I do is put it on paper and sell it.

Jim

I am still around I actually have my own shop and what have you now.
It was a kinda funny deal. Had a patrol car pick him up at the plane and bring him to the hobby shop. Lesson in timing and twins evaluation.
