From that angle you can see that something broke in the steering set up.

Looks like they could use more room between the seats and the barrier. If there would have been a problem getting the engine shut down things could have been a lot worse.

This, that's the first think I noticed. I know people like to be close but damn. Anyone on the concrete barrier at almost every hook I've ever been to has been asked to move back. To place the seats that close is dumb especially for an indoor hook.

X2 looks like it was mimicking a Dmax truck.

Guess not. What's the complaint of diesel pulling trucks anyhow?

Hope you didn't pay for the whole seat Tony cause you only needed the edge for that pull.

I'm not a truck puller, but to have a very unsafe barrier/seating arrangement and then when something goes south to look down upon the trucks is just retarded.

If a tractor was to get stupid and decide to exit stage left or right it could get a whole lot uglier when it goes over the barrier.

That whole pull is one big ass soap opera anyhow. Try protesting the wrong guy that is illegal and get thrown out because they...... nevermind.

I wasn't there but last year I believe they complained because trucks had difficulty spooling chargers and some broke. Lots of old school farmers and tractor guys there that haven't warmed up to diesel truck pulling yet.

According to Corey Atley's Facebook page. That is Carl's brand new chassis and that was the first run on it. Corey's truck went right when it broke. No matter what it sucks and good thing nobody was hurt. Not a thing he could do about it.

Im not going lie, I didn't even get up till after he hit the wall. Jared on the other hand I thought was going over his seat.

I know things happen, some thing you can control, but Carl never got out of the truck to see if everyone was ok, he ask from what I have heard but didn't go look. I know I would have, but that's just me.
