Another new guy here!

Figured I’d introduce myself and tell y’all why I joined and what I’m building!

I’ll be doing a Cummins swap into a 76 Highboy camper special.
The motor is out of a fl70 and I’ll be backing it with a built 47re with a fmvb,
And a 241dhd along with an 11.5aam rear and a coil spring setup up front with most likely a dodge 9.25 axle!
I’m planning to build the motor pretty extensively and hoping to make it a 1000hp street truck with a big single and I’ve been lurking on here for quite sometime and really liked the wealth of knowledge and figured it was about time to join!

Feel free to tell me what you think of the plan and/or offer advice, encourage or discourage whichever you prefer!

You’re in a good place. Most people here are the best for brain picking.

The only advice I can give you, is to give that dent to me.
I’m getting the body straight on mine before it gets the cummins swapped into it.

I’m most likely gonna do a Mach up and fab everything and then tear it down to the frame and fix all the rust and prep for paint and assemble it all and paint last. Again these are plans and I’m sure they well change about 30 times before it’s all said and done! Good luck with your build though! I’m sure I will be picking your brain a little too!
