Help on finding Acert turbo specs.

Hey guys I've spent hours upon hours trying to find the specs on both turbos on the C15 Acert. Current project is a 2009 389 that I have a C18 long block that just arrived today that's going in this truck.

I'm not trying to be a pain, but why do you want to know? The reason I ask is because you're probably wasting your time; those turbos are genuine garbage that I would avoid at all costs.

That's why guys are pushing 800hp with them and working their trucks every day.

In my opinion the C15 turbos are not going to be sized properly for a C18, the manifold turbo is the limiting factor in the twin set, you could however look into running a GT5518 garret by itself, this is the turbo the LP turbo in the acert set is based off of. I'm also pretty sure that the C18 truck engine in Europe uses a turbo similar to this.

I was hoping someone would have beaten me to the hard work of measuring everything including the AR of the exhaust housing. I have a lot of respect of the ACERT engines. I believe these engines got a bad wrap due to a few bad parts. The turbos themselves were not to blame for the failures as much as the liners that would crack and go through the turbos. I've looked at the GT5518 and have given it much thought about using it. Basically I was looking for a simple staged twin setup as I already have the set that was on the C15 in the truck already.

The C15 ACERT 550hp I drove had a 1.44 A/R Turbine on the manifold and I "think" a 1.6x A/R on the LP Turbo. And I agree with SmokinCAT, I think the C15 turbos aren't going to match up well for the C18. That's an awfully big displacement.
