P-Pump Conversion Pics. (kinda excited bout it)

Here are some pics of my recently completed ppump conversion. looks good i think and sounds even better. Im real excited about it! except for the fact i didnt know the 01's needed the cam sensor so i didnt bother with it. now that its all back together i realize the alternator isnt charging. but ill fix it. Im just happy i got the new cam, turbo, pump lines injectors etc on

I have a video of it in the shop after it ran for a while. just seein how it sounded bringing up the RPM's ill try and load it.

Yep, mine have seen 90-95 psi a ton of times. Only had to replace one so far!

It was very easy and cheap. I sand blasted it in the shop. then polised the raised ribs etc... then put vasoline on the parts you dont want paint to stick.

then primer and several coats of paint.

take a razor blade and remove areas where the vasoline was and clean wipe everything clean then apply several coats of clear coat.

Worked very nice. Just be gentle pulling cover in and out of engine bay

the alt wont charge with out input from the tach. i got a external regulator from napa to make mine charge.

yea im doing the same. no need to waste the time on the cam sensor when all you gotta do is install a $17 external voltage regulator
